Method
- Mash 3 medium size Ripe bananas in a bowl till no lumps. Add Brown Sugar, Egg, melted & Cooled Butter and Vanilla Essence. Whisk well till the sugar almost dissolves.
- It's best to weigh all the ingredients in grams using a Kitchen scale for perfect results.
- Place a Sieve on top of the bowl. Add Whole Wheat Flour, Cocoa powder, Baking powder, Soda, Salt and Cinnamon powder. Sift together in two batches alternating with the milk gently folding till no flour is visible.
- Add Vinegar or Lemon juice. Add Chocolate Chips and Chopped Walnuts and fold them gently into the batter. Transfer to a greased and parchment paper lined 8 inch tin. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.
- Bake @180C in a preheated oven for 30-35 mins or till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool for 20 mins in the pan before transferring the cake in a wire rack to cool completely.

Use only Ripe or Overripe Bananas to make the cake softer and also they are pretty easy to mash.
