Crispy Breaded Chicken Fillets
Ingredients
- 2 small Chicken Breast Fillets 250g
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sweet Paprika
For Coating
- 2-3 Tablespoon All Purpose Flour/Maida
- 1 Egg mixed with pinch of salt
For Breadcrumbs
- 1 Cup Breadcrumbs, panko or regular
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sweet Paprika
Sunflower/Vegetable Oil to Fry
Instructions
- Slice the Fillets from the middle into two thin Layers. Slice again in the center. Make a Seasoning by mixing Salt, pepper, Garlic, Onion powder and paprika. Apply the Spice MIx on Both Sides of the chicken fillets.
- Season the Breadcrumbs with Salt, Onion, Garlic and Paprika. Mix a beaten Egg with pinch of Salt.
- Coat the Fillets with all purpose flour well. Dip them one at a time in the Egg wash and then coat with the Breadcrumbs Mix. Keep them aside in a tray. Repeat the same process for all the fillets.
- Fry them immediately or keep the tray on the freezer to make it firm for an hour. Once Firm they can be kept in an airtight container and stored in the freezer for upto a month. Do not thaw before frying.
- Deep Fry in Medium Heat in Hot Oil till Golden on both sides. Do not Fry on High Heat as Breadcrumbs Tend to Burn Easily.
- Flip the Side only after it gets Slightly brown on other side. Do not Brown too Much. Takes only few minutes to cook.
