Instant No Yeast Pizza

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup | 125g Thick Curd/Plain Yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
  • 2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup | 125g All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive oil
Toppings:
  • 3 Tablespoon Pizza Sauce
  • 100g shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese optional
To Garnish
  • Dried Basil/Oregano, Red Chili flakes
  • Extra virgin Olive oil

Method
 

  1. Weigh the yogurt and flour for perfect results using a kitchen weighing scale.
  2. Mix the Yogurt with sugar and salt till the sugar almost dissolves.
  3. Sift together the flour and baking powder in two batches. Knead into a Sticky dough without adding any extra flour.
  4. Add olive oil and Allow to rest covered 15-20 Mins to relax the gluten. After resting the flour will absorb the yogurt and become less sticky, easy to shape well hydrated.
  5. Dust with bit of flour and olive oil, form a smooth dough. Roll it out around 10 inches. Prick with a fork to avoid puffing.
  6. Bake @230C in a preheated pizza tray for 6-7 mins till bubbles appear. Flip the side and layer with pizza sauce and Mozzarella & Parmesan cheese
  7. Bake for another 10-11 mins or till the cheese melts and gets browned. Drizzle with olive oil while it's hot. Garnish with Dried Oregano, Basil and Red Chili flakes.
  8. Serve it Hot with your favourite Ketchup 🍕🍽️🥰 Bon Appetit!

Notes

For the cheese to melt faster, keep it at room temperature. 
To Make a healthier version, replace half of the flour with whole wheat (Atta) flour.
