Creamy Chicken Curry Recipe
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken Drumsticks
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
- 2 Tablespoon Oil, to pan fry
For Curry
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 Big Garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Tomato paste
- 2 small tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt & Pepper (note that Chicken Stock has added salt)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1 Cup Chicken stock
- The Fried Chicken Legs
- 1/4 Cup Cooking Cream
- Chopped Coriander to garnish
Instructions
- Pat Dry the Chicken Drumsticks well after washing. Mix in the salt, black pepper and Paprika. Rest for atleast 15-20 mins.
- Pan Sear the Drumsticks 4-5 mins per side till Golden. Set them aside.
- In the same pan, add Butter and Saute chopped onions till slightly golden. Add minced garlic and spices. Add tomato paste and pureed tomatoes. Cook around 8 mins on medium heat till gets bit dry.
- Add the fried chicken pieces and chicken stock. Cover Cook for 20 mins or till cooked.
- Add the cooking cream, Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve Hot
