Juicy Pan fried Chicken Breast fillets soaked in a Creamy Garlic Mushroom Sauce made in One Pot, a perfect quick and delicious chicken dinner recipe within 30 minutes.
Chicken Breast in Creamy Garlic Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
For Chicken
- 2 small | 300g Chicken Breasts fillets
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Tsp Onion powder
- 1 Tsp Olive oil to pan fry
- 1 Tbsp Butter to pan fry
For Mushroom Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 Cup Onions, finely chopped
- 250g Button Mushrooms, thickly sliced
- 2 Tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 Cup Chicken Stock
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2-3 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1/4 Tsp Oregano & Thyme
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- Take 2 Chicken breast fillets and slice in the middle to split each into two halves.
- Apply Salt, Pepper, Garlic and Onion powder on both sides. Rub it well.
- Pan Fry the fillets in Butter and Olive oil till golden brown on first side for 5 mins. Then flip over and cook the other side for 7-8 mins or till cooked through. Keep them aside.
- In same pan, add some more butter and saute chopped onions till translucent for a minute. Then add thickly sliced mushrooms. Saute till golden brown on both sides.
- Add minced garlic and saute for 30 secs on low heat. Add Lemon juice or plain vinegar.
- Add salt and Chicken Stock. Let it simmer for 6-7 mins on low heat.
- Add the Heavy Cream on Low Heat. Let it simmer for 5 mins.
- Add grated Parmesan Cheese, dried Oregano and Thyme and Black Pepper
- Add the Fried Chicken Fillets into the sauce and soak them.
- Garnish with chopped Parsley and Spring onions.
- Best Served with creamy mashed potatoes. Bon Appรฉtit!
