One Pot Chicken Thighs and Rice
Ingredients
For Chicken
- Chicken Thighs 500g
- 2 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon – Salt
- 2 Teaspoon – Sweet Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper/Red Chili
- 1 Teaspoon – Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon – Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Pepper Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon – Thyme
- 1 Teaspoon Olive oil
To Soak
- 11/2 Cup Basmati Rice, Wash & SOAK 20 Mins
FOR the Rice
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1/4 Cup – Chopped Onions
- 1 Teaspoon – Minced Garlic
- The Reserved Seasoning
- The Soaked Basmati Rice
- 1 Cup – Chicken Stock (Mix 1 Builion Cube + 1 Cup Hot Water)
- 2 Cups – Hot Water
- Salt to taste
- 1 Teaspoon – White Vinegar/Lemon JuiceΒ
- Fried Chicken Thighs
- Parsley/Coriander Leaves, to Garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Seasoning by mixing together Brown Sugar, Salt, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Sweet Paprika, Cayenne Pepper and Thyme.
- Pat Dry the Thighs after washing. Apply olive oil on the Thighs. Massage well. Apply the Seasoning on both the sides. Reserve some of the seasoning for the Rice.
