Creamy Mustard Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs 500gmย
- Salt & Pepper
- Extra Virgin Olive oil 2 Tbsp
- Shallots/Onions, finelyย chopped 1/2 Cup
- ย Minced Garlic 1 Tsp
- White wine or plain vinegar 2 Tbsp
- Chicken stock 1 Cup
- Dijon mustard 1 Tbsp
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- Heavy cream 2-3 Tbsp
To Garnishย
- Chopped Fresh or dried Parsley Chopped
- Scallions/Spring Onions green part
Instructions
- Pat the Chicken Thighs completely dry for a crispy golden brown skin. Season the thighs with salt, pepper.
- Pan fry the thighs about 10mins till golden brown on both sides on medium heat. Keep them aside.ย
- In same pan, Saute the onions, garlic till slightly browned. Add the Vinegar or Wine to de glaze all the browned bits left from the thighs.
- Add the chicken stock, Dijon mustard and let boil. Add the thighs, paprika and cover cook for 15 mins.Remove the thighs, add a splashย of hot water and then add the cream to the sauce. Garnish with Parsley and Scallions.
- Serve it hot with plain rice or garlic bread.
